"Troublemaker straddles the past and present without being too cute or too serious. Thompson’s and Nall’s voices blend nicely, and the band’s facility with mood (Cloud O’er My Head is an admirably raw take on depression) suggests they’ll grow into a regional powerhouse sooner than later."
-Preston Jones, DFW.com

"Feel the rhythm and quit being so worried about letting go! These guys will put you in the mood for some good old fashioned, harmonica-laced folk rock."
-Taylor Prater, GoodBAMMSho

"Overall, Troublemaker is a good take on alternative folk rock and an extra reason for those first-time folk music listeners to go out there and listen to more folk songs. Given that folk music now comes in a wide range of music from its humble roots, Levi Cobb & the Big Smoke is one of many talented gems that really are worth the time supporting."
-Calvyn Ee, IndieVerse

"The male/female vocal harmonies are as lovingly sweet and sticky as strawberry taffy. Can't wait to catch these guys (and gal) live."
-Will Milne, We Denton Do It
